Got the same text yesterday and I have the some EDD but in Minneapolis. Curious who get's theirs's first.

Think it depends on the service center. The only defect in my 2020 M3P was a paint blotch right on the hood. They pointed it out even before I noticed it and said they already had a new hood on order. 2 weeks later they installed a new and freshly painted hood.

I'd say it's just different, I enjoy my performance ICE in different way to my tesla. The performance bar is really high on the M3P so you really need a dedicated track or some very tight corners to drive the car on the edge. The straight line performance is always there but throwing the car...

Got my vin tonight, 329xxx with a 8/23 - 8/27 delivery

I'm guessing location as I ordered after you and have the same spec car.

Day after I got my 2 week window I got a text going over the process for setting up the delivery. Still no vin yet.

Give carbuyerusa a try too, they came in a few thousand higher then carvana offered. Can always sell the wheels/tires and get what you like, though that takes more money haha.

Seems like they must be queueing up production for a batch of red cars.

Do the new model 3 performances come with the usb drive included for sentry?

Fully agree, mainly going on driving the car in full manual. In almost every mode it tends to keep rpm more in the comfort range. Even when cranked to sport.

I've driven a handful but have never owned one to really learn the cars. Cayman's, M5's, and a supra. My wife drives a kia stinger and it also has a zf 8 speed transmission. You certainly make a valid point, suppose my butt dyno went WRX -> M3P -> Stinger so I'm more accustomed to a bit more...

Feel like coming from a manual ICE car, the one pedal driving has given me the closest thing to engine braking with a downshift. Not quite as engaging but still way better then a full auto ICE car for spirited driving.

Was going to self finance as I'll likely get a better rate through my bank

Does this matter? Talking with my SA and they said this would only cause a delay if they're not complete by the time the car arrives. Need a vin to get my financing in place.
