Homelink Not Available for 2023 Model Y?

Hi, the install video I was watching showed that the connector was taped as part of a wire bundle. The picture you posted does in fact match what I have. So if that connector is Homelink, then I was mistaken. I was assuming that mine would have been taped rather than dangling free below the...

Homelink Not Available for 2023 Model Y?

Hi all- I just pulled the frunk liner out of my M3 (build date 5/23) and it definitely does NOT have the correct plug for Homelink. Therefore, I cannot retrofit Homelink in. A shame for sure, but I just affixed the opener in the driver door cubby and it works great and is completely out of the way.

Homelink Not Available for 2023 Model Y?

Mine says it's incompatible when I try to select Homelink from the store. Perhaps I'll just pull the frunk liner and see if there's a connector for it.

Homelink Not Available for 2023 Model Y?

I just bought a '23 M3 which like several of you mentioned says that it is not compatible with homelink. I cannot select the homelink option from the store. For any of you who had a similar experience, does the car actually have the bracket and harness connectors to accommodate homelink if I...

TESLA MODEL S stopped working... CAR MAY NOT RESTART

I checked the service manual for how to do this. I became leery at my ability to do this for the main reason that you to handle components from the high voltage system. Plus, looking online I can find used heaters, but not new ones. Given Tesla's propensity for unreliability, I'd hate to replace...

TESLA MODEL S stopped working... CAR MAY NOT RESTART

I just heard from Tesla. They scanned the car remotely and came to the conclusion that coolant heater was faulty and needs replacing. That's about $700 all in for the repair, for which I am on the hook as the car is out of warranty. Here is my thought about why we're all getting these errors...

TESLA MODEL S stopped working... CAR MAY NOT RESTART

That's interesting EvoForce as I am having what appears to be a similar issue with my '15 90D. Just got the error a few days ago. I parked the car and am driving something else. I set up an appointment with Tesla in a week (out of warranty unless the issue is battery related). I wonder however...

    AC/Heater Blower removal

The bearing in the blower motor of my '13 S was on its way out. I could hear high pitched chirping from the bearing that immediately went away went turning off the HVAC. I did not replace the regulator. Sourced a replacement blower from eBay. The Tesla service manual for this job is woefully...
