So I went back to the installer and he tweaked the amp and set up for me and it’s a little better. I realized all the inactive speakers are actually working. LOL. Still, overall , it sounds pretty good. Kinda notice when I raise the volume above 50 pct , it’s sounds better but not into cranking...

I installed it and lost quite a bit of bass from the front door woofers. The treble was much clearer but the factory stock set up still better in my opinion. Depends on personal preference.

Noted , The sub does lack some punch but having activated the rear deck speakers made a difference when sitting in the back seats. I don’t notice it as much on the driver side. The higher tones from the tweeters do sound nice.Overall , it’s a noticeable improvement with no regrets.I’ll tinker...

I’m not exactly sure but guessing the wire location is on the driver side ? I can ask the tech who wired it up for me and get back to you. I’ll try to tweak the amp to see if it will satisfy my appetite for more bass. Lol

I had my version A installed today by a professional and he did not connect the A pillar tweeters. I think that helped with door woofer from losing its punch. Something you can try by disconnecting it. It does sound pretty good. I still wouldn’t mind a little more bass from the sub tho. Hahaha.

Installed the harness to activate the 6 inactive speakers in the 2019 m3. I definitely noticed a loss of bass from the door speakers. The highs were improved but still no matter how I adjusted the sound, the stock system still sounded noticeably better so I took the harness off and sold it...

Glad you have no issues . I just received my harness to activate all speakers as well. Hope it all goes well.
