If you mean the "Final Payment is Ready" notification, that gives you the option to pay - that came to me the second I got my VIN. I got an email 11/28 around 4am saying final payment is ready, and my VIN showed up at the same time.

It's just the way Tesla works. They don't make the cars per order, but in batches and have a static delivery plan so your location matters. If you're in a lucky location, with a lucky configuration that they have extra inventory of from their batches, then you get your car quicker than others. I...

I'll bet a lot of those people will get lucky and still get their cars before the end of the year. I see many people that ordered late November and still have their car before me when I ordered in October. Just that Q4 push.

My SA offered that as well. You can pickup the car at the end of the day and return it in the morning. My SA was calling it an extended test drive.
