What letter does your last name start with? Seems like they have one or more “problem employees.” Anybody who’s worked in an office knows what I’m talking about. It’s up to supervisors to be on top of problems like this and fix them. All you can do is keep calling and emailing.

Why is everything run by the government in California so third-rate and dysfunctional? I can apply for a credit card online and get approved in a minute. Can you imagine if Amazon worked like this program?

Congrats to the approves! I applied Oct 30, still waiting. Ordered Tesla Model Y at the same time, got a VIN and could have picked it up today, but called and told them I didn’t have grant yet, they said no worries, when you get grant they’ll get the process moving again. $5000 is too much...

She also said I could un associate the VIN from my account and contact her when grant comes through. Then I have to wait for another VIN.

i called my SA in Burbank today (who is great) and she said everybody gets the $1500 and it’s basically like a gift card that goes toward your down payment. There’s a form Tesla provides you have to sign.

I got a VIN # for ModelY, applied for grant 10/30 so not looking like it will come through in time for delivery. what do people do in this situation? $5000 is too much to just say forget it.
