Went there this weekend. The parking spots are super cramped with both narrow spaces and big cement columns to deal with. Add on the $8 minimum charge and it’s not an ideal situation all around. I was able to go to Home Slice while charging so there’s that at least.

No, there is going to be a new set of public superchargers at the Galleria (hence the address on West Alabama). These have been listed as coming soon for close to a year on Tesla's supercharger map.

You're probably right. I've had my Y only for a few months, and haven't driven much since I'm mostly working from home. And when I do drive, I'm mostly in Houston where it is flat as a pancake except for freeway overpasses.
What was your state of charge on the trip from Cibolo Creek Ranch to Lajitas and back? I will be making that same trip next month and trying to decide whether I need to charge at one of the RV parks for a few hours.
