Is this the rockymount splitrail LS? Your post made me look at that model; seems like it’s lighter than the kuat/thule platforms. How easy it to remove/install the rack from the vehicle? From my reading, it seems like the pin needs to get tightened with a tool near the hitch receiver?

How do you feel about getting home delivery (vs pick up at delivery center)?

I got a home delivery scheduled as well, but was informed that I don't have to accept delivery before the drop off.

Anyone in NorCal with recent VIN assignment for an LR with tow hitch? I’m suspecting the tow hitch is what’s holding my VIN assignment back...

Mine too -- was Dec 3-31, then last night it got updated to Dec10-Dec 31

now that i think about it.. dec3-dec31 really matches my initial 5-9 weeks after order (but is behind the 1-3 weeks text that i got 2 weeks ago)

Just checked the manage order page... and now it says "Estimated Delivery: December 03-December 31"

I ordered 10/28, LR AWD, White Exterior, Black Interior, FSD, Tow Hitch. Northern California, most likely Fremont Delivery Center. Text on 11/19 -- ready in 1-3 weeks... no updates since as well, been about 1.5 weeks since the text. No email today.

Interesting. I ordered white LR AWD on 10/28. Initial estimate was 5-9 weeks which put it in the whole month of December. The text last week changed it to 1-3 weeks which brought it to Dec 10 at the most.

Anyone else still waiting on the LR in norcal? Placed my order on 10/28... got a text last week saying 1-3 weeks. My SA said should get it by end of this week.
