    You are probably right but it's too late because I bought it anyways. Will report back how it works. Ended up being $81 before tax. These drives can also get really hot so not sure on that. Either way will be a sweet thumb drive. This is what I got...

    Hi I just came here to ask this and glad I found this post. Will a Samsung M.2 NVMe drive in a M.2 USB adapter work? Right now with Black Friday pricing on Amazon you can get the NVMe drive + adapter for $84.

    I can't find a VIN in the source code but my wife's order was just updated this morning too. Model X LR+. Nov 24 - Dec 08 delivery. Ordered late October.
