Interestingly, the Model 3 Owners Manual on the internet says your chosen setting on Forward Collision Warning is retained until you manually change it. No mention of having to change it on every trip.

The Forward Collision Warning is ridiculous now. It’s like a daily reminder not to buy another Tesla.

I will check this on mine as it started squeaking and creaking last week and it’s getting steadily worse.

But not every car and I have never paid £56k for a computer. And if you do get a faulty computer they will generally fix it for you. Probably because that is actually the law.
