We just upgraded our 2020 MY for a 2024. I must say the car is so much quieter and the suspension is night and day in comparison. You need to go test drive a 2024, not sure what was done but it is not the same car as a 2020.

A voltage reading means nothing if there is no amperage. I have had the same experience in the past and it would not even light up a small automotive bulb connected directly to it.

I believe that is a great idea plus smear some silione around the mating section of the casing to help improve on their seal. You may also want to inject some grease into the boot where the cable enters to help seal the opening to keep that boot facing downward to prevent water ingress.

They should have used conformal coating on the board as in marine applications and pay very close attention to sealing the unit. I would have run some silicone around the casing split and smeared it down. All it takes is a couple of drops of water which may even come from condensation to screw...

I have had HUD in 2 previous vehicles, never again. Why? I swear by polarized sunglasses and HUD disappears when using them. Ended up getting non polarized prescription glasses however never got used to HUD even after 4 year with it. You need to try it to realize it is not that great at all.

I did not get the upgraded auto shift. Looked at the release notes on board and no sign of it. Guess it will come later for whatever reason.

If you back out of a parking space it is supposed to shift into forward as opposed to you doing so on the screen. As with anything new, it will only get better with time. Scroll down on this link until you find auto shift (beta)

I may however I have backed out of a few places and turned the yoke however it has not shifted into forward like it should according to what I have read. I do have Auto Shift (beta) switched on. It is in its infancy so maybe not very reliable yet?

Not sure how the new filter contamination gauge works however the is only 1 way to determine this and that would be through airflow differential taken before and after filtration. Tesla seems to have done something that may measure blower power draw however that would be a rough estimate at best...

I believe any group size 51R is the correct replacement battery. I would stick with flooded as charging parameters vary with other variations. Although the charging parameters are only very small, it would be wise the not confuse your Tesla. ;)
