The snow foam lance makes a big difference, make sure it's a decent one, I tried a karcher one at first and it was hopeless, get a nice brass machined one! :cool:

I find that as long as the paint is well prepared underneath and you do it often enough then like you say a snowfoam and rinse off will get it something like 90% clean, ideal for winter driving. I use magifoam btw, works a treat.

First wash in 2 weeks :eek: Last weekend it didn't get above 1 degree so didn't bother!

To keep this thread going, got the tesla frunk mat the other day and the puncture kit. Now running out of oem stuff so just ordered the abstract ocean leds for footwells, puddles and boot lights as they are seriously dim as standard...

Scheduled charging and preconditioning works fine for us? Just use the in car setup, car plugged in everynight in any case to charge off peak, no real problems.

You've clearly not inspected it properly, if you look hard enough you'll notice the font is about 0.1mm too small in some places, disaster. I'm selling mine on the strength of it and buying one of them shite VWs that's just as expensive, half as fast, looks terrible and has no charging network.

21 LR, .30 dropped at 23.30 last night, installed overnight no issues this morning.

I used a microfiber and IPA, use plenty, took a couple of goes and it all comes off.

I think it must be some protection to stop the trim being scuffed during transport?

Mine were identical to yours an IPA shifted it? You need to use a lot not a bit

I got stiffed on exactly the same thing! Don't do it! I got took to court and they tried to make me pay! My car was parked up at the time when someone crashed into it so completely fault free...

In all fairness if I had to wait I'd still have enjoyed the process. Most cars I've ordered in the past have taken 12 weeks from Germany to the UK and that's a lot closer... Fully get it though, waiting for a new car is quite annoying:mad:

Same! Certainly a different way to do business but actually I think it's been quite enlightening and modern feeling to me at least. Why have expensive dealerships, instead make all the cars the same spec and sell online, everyone's a winner!

I ordered from inventory on 30th Nov and collecting on 19th Dec. I did it all on the webpage, my tesla account has been updated throughout. Have you looked on there to see what it says?

I test drove an M3P about 2 months and it was in full fat mode? Must be dealer specific?
