Ok but this is not how the Model 3 came from the factory. This was repainted by a body shop that is claiming they cannot achieve the same results as Tesla. I'm looking for insight for anyone who also had any rocker panel repair or can speak to the validity of this shop's claim.

That response was for people who purchased after December 15th, 2020 and up until the new program launches. My application was approved but then they ran out of funds. I received an email that said this. I can't be the only one? This is also on the Charge Up website in the FAQ:

What about all the people that met all the requirements in 2020 and submitted an application in time but were told they have to wait until the FY22 budget was approved to receive the $5k?

I accepted delivery on 12/31 and applied the same day. I just received this email today:

Same story. I ordered 10/29. The original delivery date was 12/12 and was moved 3 times. Now I'm supposed to pick it up tomorrow.

My MVPA is 8 pages. The first page is the Vehicle Configuration and the second page is the Final Price Sheet. I'm calling ChargeUp tomorrow to make sure I qualify for the rebate. If not, I'm planning on refusing delivery and hoping they'll have Phase Two in the summer.

Paramus. I ordered on 10/28. On the MVPA, it says "Accepted by Customer on" 10/29/2020, but on the second page, the "Date of Agreement" says 12/24/2020.

Has anyone that accepted delivery after 12/15 applied for the rebate and heard back from the state? I was supposed to accept delivery on the 12th, delayed to the 18th, delayed to the 26th, and now delayed to the 31st. They changed the date of agreement on my MVPA to 12/24/20.
