One idea to protect all EVs from being stolen, would be for chargers to ping the stolen car database when a car connects to charge. If it comes up stolen then it can be immobilised.

Thanks - that's a smart suggestion - have done. Ironically the car has lifetime free Supercharging - though I still had to add a payment method in case of any idle charges.
