    Plaid getting a new PCS P/N 1135558-16-A

Yup, one day my car just died and couldn't even get into it. I thought it was just a 12V problem. Brought it in and now a new PCS has been ordered. I have a refresh MS. So what ended up happening? Did they have to drop the pack to access the PCS?

Questions for owners of first deliveries of refreshed Model S

1)How are the headlights at night? Do they do a good job illuminating the road for a good amount of distance? (I've read previous Model S headlights have been less than stellar) 2)For those that owned an S previous to the refresh, who do the refresh headlights compare?

So…for ppats87 and others who have been lucky enough to have a LR delivered…any acceleration boost option?

    2021 Refresh Model S Discussion

I really hope so. Almost all new car LED lights have the solid strip. The single LED or dotted look is what most cars had a decade ago. I can’t image it’s a cost issue. Their flagship sedan should have the latest.

    New 2021 Model S Unveiled January 27, 2021

Maybe they're saving it for an upgrade later..."ludicrious" anyone? (we can only hope)

    New Long Range Model S

That will be interesting to see what the 1/4 mile will be for the new LR with the new sustained peak power. I'm more interested in 0-60 because I would use that more.:)

    New Long Range Model S

True and that’s a big “if”. Remember this is the new redesigned S so hopefully they have updated suspension components. Furthermore Tesla tends to over engineer their cars and there is always room for more such as how they gave Model 3 owners the acceleration boost. My guess is they have...

    New Long Range Model S

I just think there is a sweet spot in there between 3.1 for the LR and 1.99 for the Plaid where you could charge people like myself a few $K and have a 0-60 somewhere in the 2.7-2.8 range that wouldn't hurt sales of the Plaid. Seeing as sales are apparently spiking (according to articles)...

    New Long Range Model S

I hope so. I ordered an LR and I’d pay for Ludicrous or an acceleration boost.

    New 2021 Model S Unveiled January 27, 2021

3.1 is good. I’m sure many would pay to get into the 2.7-2.8. I think that’s still far enough from the Plaid to not cannibalize sales

    New 2021 Model S Unveiled January 27, 2021

Do you guys think they’ll add an acceleration boost option or restore the “glory of the Ludicrous mode” to the LR? It seems there is quite the gap in price and performance between the LR and Plaid and I would pay for a bit more performance the LR and I’m sure others would too
