Got a call today at 4pm from Tesla Dublin, saying that if I wanted they could deliver the car today at 5pm, a day ahead of schedule as it had arrived and was being valeted... ... sadly I had a meeting I couldn't skip so had to stick to my original delivery of tomorrow morning.

... out of interest, why does the Morning Capo have to visit pier 44 first? The berth in the western docks is free so couldn't it just go straight there.

Because of COVID lockdown I'm getting a home delivery on 6th March... the Dublin Tesla SC is about 5 min drive from me, not sure if that makes me more or less likely to be one of the first from this batch

Your tesla advisor will reach out to tell you that the current trade in offer has expired, and will ask you to upload another pic of your odometer... and will issue a new trade in offer. For me the trade in offer was the same as it was the first time.

Thanks for the replies. I still can't figure out where their figures come from, my calculated value was on the new VRT rates. (I also couldn't match their VRT before the change, again theirs was 250ish higher) not sure what I'm missing

Out of interest, how long after docking in Southampton do shipments normally take to arrive in Ireland? Delivery dates in Ireland start on March 4th so 15 days after docking in Southampton... Seems quite long. Iget the reason for not delivering cars in the UK until March 1st because of licence...

My calculations:

From my reading of the revenue website, the VRT is 7% of the total price including delivery charges including VAR, so in your case 7% of (57,990 + 980) = 4,127.90 I simply can't figure out how they've come to the VRT figures they show on the website

Have been following this forum for a couple of months now and it's great for getting hyped about our delivery. (6th March, Dublin home delivery of blue M3LR... No VIN in account though) Question for Irish reservations holders... Have you noticed that the VRT shown in the price is too high? And...
