I believe the updated 3 has a different software e version at the moment. It enables the steering wheel but is missing some other features. Unsure why. Mine tells me there is no new version.

Collecting my 3 on Thursday in Chicago, it's a MF902 VIN I really hope it has the heated wheel, need it in IL! Wonder if I can refuse the car if it doesn't.
