As I promised, a quick update regarding delivery. I took deliver yesterday and it was, as expected, an easy process. Of note ... My visual inspection of the vehicle revealed nothing out of place. No missing caps in the second row (as some others have reported), no panel gaps, no paint issues...

I received my VIN on Saturday at ~11 pm at night. I received the official text message with my VIN the following Sunday morning around 11 am.

That's wild. I just called Tesla (again) and the service rep was good. At least he was honest enough to say that he has no idea why I haven't received a VIN but I'm ready for a match. It just depends on the configuration, etc., which, in the two years he's been with Tesla has seen no pattern...

I believe that it's pick-up only in Colorado. At least, along the front range. Personally, I'm picking up in Littleton. Someone else on this thread is picking up in Superior. I'm sure there are other pick-up locations in Colorado but no idea where.

Glad to hear this as I'm in Colorado. Perhaps the week of the 22nd will be delivery week for those of us living in the mountain west region.

Congrats to all with a VIN! Based on "the spreadsheet", if you live west of the Mississippi you're probably still waiting for a VIN. There is the odd VIN assigned here and there but those are anomalies. I'm still setting my own expectations for a Colorado delivery ~ 2 weeks out. Before the end...

As painful as I'm sure it was, you may as well get what you want. Honestly, a few of those items sound like deal breakers for me as well and ... I really want this car.

A quick PSA. For those who haven't filled out "the spreadsheet" it's a great way to track these VIN assignments and delivery dates. Further, if you haven't actually received your MY7 don't fill out a delivery date. It makes it look like more people have received than actually have.

I'm in Colorado as well (picking up in Littleton ... although I'm not sure that matters much) and had a chat with my SA a week ago. The stretch date on my original window is 3/6 and he said that I'd likely be able to pick up a week before or after that date. Still no VIN so a pick-up tomorrow...

Looks like the, at least, that portion of My Account on their site is falling over. I received an http 503 error before it redirected to the homepage. I trust that some poor sys engineering is scrambling to fix whatever broke. And by scrambling I mean, you know, when it's convenient.

Regarding the updated headlights. The dude in this video did a "drive off the lot video" and shows off the new console and makes a brief reference to receiving the new headlights. And, look, I'm not a huge YouTube watcher but I've allowed myself to settle into the warm embrace of other people...

Seems like fair speculation on both counts. I texted my SA this morning to ask if Model Y's were impacted. The glass half full part of me hopes they are focusing production on the Model Y over the 3. </wishful thinking> I'll post back once I have a response from my SA.

I had a similar issue with my proof of insurance upload. I uploaded and saw a broken image where I would have expected to see an image. Also, no check box. My SA said that it's all fine and won't slow down the process. If memory serves, he even mentioned this step could be done any day leading...
