I’m not sure it necessarily has to do with which is the quietest… maybe it is more which one transmits road bumps to the chassis less. I think in the end it is still unclear what exactly causes the boominess.

So sorry to beat this to death. See the picture below. I was under the impression that the part I marked is new in the new headlights and then assumed (I know the danger of that) that it probably swiveled. Looks like it would. And it doesn’t seem to have anything to do with arrays of LEDs.

Ah, I was under the impression that there WERE mechanical parts... specifically the new outer, projector, part of the lights. You’re sure there’s nothing mechanical there?

OK, so how is this different? Model 3 and Y headlights have not turned into curves before, so I assumed that was the change now. If not, what’s the difference?

I don’t understand that. Are they not just lights that the car can aim based on the direction you’re turning? If so, I’ve had several cars which do that, including the Mazda Miata which I currently own. What am I missing?

Canuck did NOT get new headlights. He says so in the comments. Salesman said he had new lights but when he got home and compared to his wife’s older one, there was no difference.

Apparently you can contact Tesla (not sure exactly how, I’m a noob) to find out if you got (1) new console, (2) heated steering wheel, (3) new headlights and (4) HEPA filter. Would you be willing to do that and let us know?
