Well after exactly 2 months of waiting I finally got VIN assigned-179402. MY7 Red/White/19/Tow/FSD-damn that was a painfull waiting

Damn! Finally after painfull waiting for what we still have to pay I got the VIN assigned -179402. Ordered MY7 Red/White, 19", Tow, FSD on 2/18. Not sure what next and how long for the delivery but at least that part is over.

Oh well-not much we can do about it. Its sad that making revolutionary product doesn't go with having transparent policies and great support. At this point their philosophy is: its either our way or the ... Not having real support is a drag and reading about stonewalls when something goes wrong...

This is total BS, unacceptable and honestly criminal-you did not authorize the second payment! Crazy part is that they charged you quickly but same way as there is no one to talk to about the delivery dates, there won't be anyone to talk to about reversing their f..up and it might take a while...

Thats encouraging. We had the dates on account when we ordered on 2/18 showing delivery March 02- March 31 but then they took them off and still waiting.

I completely agree. Yes-quality issue microscopes are the effect of the prior lack of QC on Tesla's part. And I couldn't agree more with arrogance part. Product in super high demand gives them leverage and just like any other big corporation, they use it.The whole process is a killjoy for sure...

I'm seriously getting impatient. Ordered LR7 Red/White, Hitch, FSD on 2/18/21 and original delivery date was set for March 2nd-31st. 40 days later not even VIN assignment, called SA and of course there is jacks..t that they are able to do. Sold my other car already and this waiting might take...

I have been waiting since 2/18 for MY LR7 Red/White&Black, Tow, FSD and I reached out to SA to see if I can upgrade 19"Geminis for 20" Inductions. The answer was sure, it will delay the order even further and rise the price by additional $1000 since base price went up shortly after I ordered...

Damn-I ordered mine on 2/18 and still no VIN but I guess Red color is a catch here-all other colors have been getting VIN's left and right.

I was considering the same thing with the wheels and from what I gathered Induction wheels look much nicer but are less practical: less comfy ride, less range and edges are much easier to get damaged. Still running it through my head.

Hi there-waiting for my VIN but just curious about your charging situation-living on UWS and parking in a garage with no charger makes it complicated so Superchargers seem to be the only option for now.

Try to edit it again and make sure the date and the year is correct. I had exactly the same issue and for some reason that spreadsheet was automatically assigning year 2022 even though I was entering 2021. Editing few times and fixing the record fixed everything for me.
