Yeah, pretty much accepted and factored into the decision for most at this point...though I don't think people count on having autopilot not work and a leaky frunk immediately, like how mine came.

For me, 23 days to VIN, 27 days to delivery. I had an odd path though, I started with a RWD order, then switched it to LR order on day 12, though looking at the order spreadsheet, ~30 days to delivery for a LR isn't unheard of. I'm in Hayward, CA, about 10min from the Fremont factory.

Felt the same about when I test drove a AWD Ioniq 5 -- drove well enough, a little more plush on the ride than on the model 3/Y, but ultimately the cruise control was no match for Tesla Autopilot, and the packaging of that car was a little odd for my tastes. A good amount of cabin volume, but...

This is the boat I’m in — OD 2/6 for a RWD, switched to LR on 2/19, got EDD of 2/24-3/7 on 2/22. Immediately freaked out about to sell my trade to Shift on Monday, but now my EDD window is 4/19-5/17. Going to check with the SA to see what they think about it.

Thanks for the tip, in the market for some PPF myself, so this is valuable. Good luck recovering your costs, that's a terrible story.

Makes sense, thanks for typing that all out. It's just annoying that I'll have to deal with changing the VIN/Loan with the bank at this point with no assurances it won't happen again and getting no guidance from my SA or SC.

Just an update, was matched to a VIN on 3/26, but found out I was unmatched in the evening yesterday (3/30) -- a little disconcerting since the bank has already sent payment based on a MVPA with a specific VIN? Does that matter? Also, any reason to be unmatched? I know i've been seeing it here...

My MVPA also specified 15mi on the odometer; which is a little weird, because I'm being told most likely that the car will be driven over to my house and dropped off (more miles!). Just hope it doesn't count against my 24hr/100mi eval period.

First that I've seen this done! Amazing you can fit all that in there -- how much foot/leg space do the kids in the 3rd row end up having? Pics would be super informative :) I don't have 4 like you do, but there is a good chance that one of mine could see some forward facing convertible car seat...

Congratulations to everyone getting their cars! Nice to hear people liek @duran505 and people in my Region/State (SF Bay Area, NorCal/SoCal) are getting cars. Was assigned a 154XXX VIN on Friday, but no movement on my account of contact from SA since then. Payment arrived at Tesla this morning...

Yeah for sure, movement for either of us is probably great for the other.

Same boat, Bay Area (east bay, ordered through Dublin SC), white/black 7 seat LR ordered/completed profile 3/4 and no movement at all on this end. Been badgering my SA/SC and have always just been told that they're "on track" for delivery this month. shrug.

Good stuff! Running out of hope over here, completed profile on 3/4 (after putting the order in on 2/8 :-\), so not sure if I have a chance at a delivery anytime soon. Ordered in Hayward, CA.
