I had a feeling this would happen - didn't seem promising based off of last time they ran out of funding. I applied on 2/9 so I was certainly not getting funding.

Picked up my Model 3 SR+ on Monday, and has white door cards + white fabric lining on front seats.

It was through Wells Fargo. I tried to get it lower, but Chase (ironically my bank) came out with 2.79%. My down payment was only 20% of car (was gonna be 20% + $5000), got approved in about 30 seconds.

Thanks, I'm super glad I picked up today instead of waiting a minimum of several more months, and possibly losing out on CVRP too. In that case, all that time and waiting for $500 was not worth it for me. Car has been a blast in the 2 miles I've driven it so far (5 total) lol.

Well boys and girls, I decided to pick up my Model 3 SR+ tomorrow... got the standard 2.49% but talked to my SA to get it lowered, but it’s already solid enough it’s not a dealbreaker. I’m not keen on waiting for 5k and missing out on a Tesla for possibly a year plus IMO.

There's also a few people on the Reservation List who ended up buying a car without CVAP once funds ended, in this thread alone. And I'm sure that lots of others are doing the same. So maybe good news? When did you end up applying, 2/9 here.

Yeah was pretty shocked to see how few grants are given by CVAP a year, compared to CVRP. I assume once they accepted Teslas for their program, applications at least doubled, therefore an unexpected premature depletion of funds this month.

I might just bite the bullet and get the car without the 5k, could be 6+ months by the time they restart approving applications and chances are CVRP will be out of funding... just a bad situation overall.

Which is why I hope that those thar buy their Teslas without CVAP can remove themselves from the reservation list so those that will wait the long wait will have less of a delay :)

Yeah, I applied in February and wasn't even thinking of buying a Tesla before this... a part of me just wants to say screw it and just get it now, but then again $5,000 is no joke... this + CVRP makes this car cheaper than an equipped Accord ffs.

From what I see here, those numbers aren't simplified? Only ~80-100 grants a month? I had a feeling that the amount of people applying/being approved for these grants were way higher.

Yeah, if people were getting accepted from January, that seems to be just about a two month turnaround time... I'd expect January applicants to hear back in the next three weeks or so, I applied second week of February so I'm thinking late April to mid May based from what I've seen here, and...
