Price reduced 4/19.
4 Pirelli P-zero PZ4 235/35R20 tires taken off a Tesla Model 3 Performance. Approximately 4500 miles on 3, the 4th is brand new never mounted. Never driven or parked below freezing. The 3 used are all between 7-8/32, new is around 9/32. Never tracked, no patches or damage...
Old post I know but I keep an old quilt in the trunk that I just pack around whatever I'm transporting to keep it stable. Has the added advantage of absorbing any spills and working as a picnic blanket.
Did you confirm that with a SC? I picked up my 3 on Saturday, drove it ~2 hours home, plugged it in immediately and heard the exact same thing. I doubt the battery was cold after a 2 hour interstate drive. I'm used to the normal pump noises from having had a 2015 S and a new Y, this sounds...
Since I love a good nerd-sniping session Tesla's plug is also a published standard, you can read up on it and download everything needed.

Will do. Unfortunately the support people are pretty slow to reply but I'll share the eventual resolution here, whether they fix it somehow or I get a different charger. I plan to swap spots and current settings with the grizzl-e that is working just to see if that's possibly part of the issue...
Contacted Grizzl-e support (United chargers), no reply. We just picked up our model 3 yesterday and it does the exact same thing as the Y. I'll keep trying with grizzl-e support.
Seems like it would be easier to sell it in the US and buy another when you get there, any reason not to do that? The home charger would be the least of the issues as they already accept a wide range of input voltage and frequency. Supercharging and the hassles with maps/cell not working would...
Same here, I suspect a lot of people did that. My EDD hasn't changed yet, despite being past the start date. Resist the temptation, it will be worth it :)
I have 2 grizzl-e chargers in my garage, 1 hooked up to a 30A circuit (configured for 24A charging) and the other to a 50A circuit for 40A charging (both 240V). Both work without issue on my '15 85D, never had an issue in 2 years of use.
We got a '23 Y a month ago, and whenever it's connected...
I talked to the advisor that texted me when my VIN was assigned and they were able to make the change, but I couldn't do it myself as several people have noted. Still shows as the same delivery date but I expect that may get pushed back.
Prices just dropped on Tesla's website so all colors can theoretically fall below the 55k tax credit limit, anyone able to switch color? I have grey scheduled for delivery and VIN assigned, but would prefer red now that the price is below the limit. Anyone know if they'll let you switch?
New car has VIN assigned and delivery date 4/13 so I will be able to part with this car whenever payment/delivery is worked out. I plan on putting it on carsandbids.com soon if nobody is interested here. Open to offers.
2015 Model S 85D
130k miles, driven ~800 miles/month and will go up until replacement car arrives. I have a M3P on order, estimated delivery Mar 2023 but likely will be in April. I would prefer to wait to sell until the 3 arrives but will consider selling before then.
Clean title in hand, no...
Grey. I'm not in a rush but was kind of hoping to actually get something before the end of the month. I assume it will be still eligible for the tax credit, but if it's not and I don't get it by the end of the month I'm switching to Red or Black and possibly waiting for the refresh that's...
This... I notice what you're describing on my Model S and as well and think part of it is due to the CV axles (or maybe something elsewhere in the powertrain) having a small amount of backlash that gets seated to one side during regen, then when you take off reseats itself to the other side...
Tesla refunded the $250. The secret sauce seems to be that once the VIN was assigned for the car we are taking we had a contact at the service center who actually returned our calls and got it done.
I expect the coolant sensor is somewhere on the bottom of the reservoir. As I recall when I changed the valves I drained everything down to the level of the valves themselves (basically just didn't plug them), then topped it off and still had coolant left in the gallon jug.
I've bought 3 and used 2 so far of the machined stainless paddle gear kits on ebay for ~$20 each (shipping takes a week so when one goes out I have a part ready to go). I'd completely recommend that option over paying Tesla for OEM repairs.
Service request via the Tesla app. I chose something vaguely relevant, then told them the parts I needed, they sent me an invoice. I paid via the app as well and one of the mobile service people delivered the parts to my work.
I completely agree with using properly sized safety chains, I didn't look at the rating on the links pictured above and was surprised at how low a weight rating they have for a 3/8" link. The chains and links that came on my boat trailer (2995 GTW) are 1/4", and then looking at an etrailer...
Do you really need something that big for the weight? Unless the rest of your safety chain is just as big it will just break one of those links if it's going to go.
Assuming you purchased it end of '21, I would expect ~50k, maybe 55. The closest comp I could find is below, lower miles and slightly newer. For me FSD doesn't really add much value but I'm sure there are others who would value it...
That's right. It's on the passenger side of the car, above the rear wheel well in my car. I had to figure out which the 12V supply wire was, but after that it was easy. There's a big bundle of wires with a few obviously larger gauge than the others. In my case only one had 12V on it when the...
I have the Tekonsha 119250 zero contact lighting adapter and older non-stainless ecohitch rated for 2000/300lbs. I tapped into the 12V going to the power liftgate and other than the issue that requires me to always have the headlights on that @geordi mentioned, no issues whatsoever. I've only...
My guess is you got lucky being much closer to them than I am? Or you ordered a set of options they happened to be producing? I've read a few similar stories and am hoping we have a similar experience.
I agree with not doing a chargeback, I know I mentioned it possibly in my initial post but the (unstated) intent was that they might be able to get in touch with Tesla where we've failed. I've used it once successfully to get in touch with a company and resolve the issue where other attempts had...
My wife ordered a Y the day after prices dropped and then accidentally ordered a second. She has a Tesla account but wasn't logged in at the time of the first order, then logged in and the reservation didn't show up in the account. No confirmation email at this point either. So ~25 minutes later...
Can you post photos, especially of any damage? What year is it? Price you're looking to get for it? A photo of the "Additional vehicle information" screen (Software tab) would be useful too as they have changed over the last couple years.
