I added one to the frunk. Mostly to help keep it clean if I have food spills. Didn't find it nessecary to put one in the trunk sub space. I only store a child seat, plus other random items down there.

I had the same thing too. Mobile service said he could try but it might not work and mentioned that all the Model Ys had the same issue. I ended up going into a SC and they had not problem getting it perfectly flush.

Curious what everyone thinks of the chirp speaker? I didn’t mind it at first, but the more I use the frunk now, the more it bugs me. Maybe a piece of tape over it to muffle the sound more?

Doesn't the SC take pictures of your vehicle when you drop it off (I know they have for me)? If so, ask them to show you that the damage existed when you dropped the car off.

Turns out that despite having taped everything off, so I could align the latching mechanism correctly, it needed to be adjusted slightly to the left. After that, it worked perfectly.

I'm in the middle of installing mine. The hood lowers, but doesn't get caught by the lowering mechanism. I can "help it out" by giving a little pressure and then it goes all the way. Chatting with TelsaOffer now about it. Hopefully they can help fix it quickly.

Here are a few photos of the vent cover from @Halpm3Pleas3 The first shows the old design and the 2nd and 3rd show the new design. The vents will definitely direct air in the proper direction and the fitment is great.

The design was updated and airflow should be better directed towards the back of the car. Should be receiving the new ones today or tomorrow. Will post a picture once I get them.

You might have gotten this corrected already, but I just got back from my SC and they did a 4 wheel alignment which corrected the issue with the steering wheel being off center.

The Tesla OEM trays fit perfect and are definitely they way to go. If you later feel you need more organization, then look at aftermarket ones.

I had the same error with my Samsung T7 drive when I switched to a cheaper shorter cable. When I switched back to the one that came with the drive the error disappeared.

Yeah, straight back along the floor. He's a super rudimentary drawing of the side view of the vent. It should make sense though.

@Halpm3Pleas3 I'm curious if you could change the angle of the vent fins in your design, so they do direct the airflow straight back? I just installed the vents and it seems like the air gets directed straight up into the front seats.

Many modifications could technically void your warranty, but this is also a fairly easily reversible mod that you can switch back to if you're experiencing issues with the frunk and need to bring it into Tesla to resolve.

Not sure if I got priority or not. The gave me a delivery pickup day of the 12th (for the original car it was home delivery). Trying to get a hold of a SA to try to get the car sooner or have it dropped off. Forgot to copy down the original VIN, but I'm in the 161xxx range now.

I declined my original delivery scheduled for 03/25 and requested a 04/01 delivery date. My account showed nothing until this past Saturday when it updated to 1 to 2 weeks, then yesterday switch to April 7th - 10th, and now shows 8th - 11th.
