    Charge port latch not engaged

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I tried jiggling that before, but it didn't work for me. I'll try again.

    Charge port latch not engaged

It definitely sounds like more of a serious problem than the other issues have seen so far. How old is your car and what model is it? Every time I have to drive my wife's plug-in hybrid, I'm also cringing at using gas at the current prices vs electric.

    Charge port latch not engaged

What do you mean by jiggle the manual release? What are you jiggling? I tried jiggling the cable while it was connected but it didn't work. I'm using a j1772 EVSE with the Tesla adapter.

    Charge port latch not engaged

I had my charge port replaced by Tesla and I'm still getting this issue. It took them three attempts to fix it so it's annoying that I went through all that effort for nothing. The first two were mobile visits and the second time they force me to go to the service center and wait for about 2...

Haha, I just noticed that it's the UK section too after you mentioned it. I originally found the thread via a Google search.

    Charge port latch not engaged

Okay, that's what I originally thought the issue was but I've tried replugging it in a few times and it doesn't work. It seems to work after a day or so.

    Charge port latch not engaged

For the people having the problem, when you plug in, what color light do you see and do you hear the sound of the latch locking the plug in place? For me, my charge light stays white and I don't hear the locking sound, but the app shows that I plugged in, and shows the warning.

It's been happening to me intermittently as well. I had Tesla mobile service come by twice but they had the wrong part both times. I am now just waiting to see if it happens again and if it does to try switching out the official Tesla J1772 adapter that I use to see if that's the issue since the...

    Anyone else not getting 10.9?

I finally went from FSD Beta 10.8.1 to 10.10.2 last night. Tesla finally released this new 2021.44.30.21 version really fast according toTeslaFi. I think it's only a matter of a day or two before everyone on FSD beta gets it.

MASTER THREAD: FSD Subscription Available 16 Jul 2021

I used FSD beta to go on a more than 1,000 mi road trip. I had no issues on the expressways since I don't plan to go faster than 80 miles per hour where the speed limit is 65 mph. I despise tailgating so a following limit of two is no problem for me. If your road trip involves a lot of...

You can also see which version is FSD on TeslaFi.com and look for the FSD version red text next to the version or look for the blue steering wheel icon next to the version number on this website. Tesla Software Update Release Notes - Latest Tesla Updates

    Anyone else not getting 10.9?

All the FSD beta all going to 10.9 even if we don't have 10.8.1. I don't think anyone's going to get 10.8.1 now unless I misunderstood what you said?
  14. GargantulaKon

    Anyone else not getting 10.9?

Yes, it does from reading the release notes of the two versions.

    Anyone else not getting 10.9?

Well, this 2021.44.30.15 release is for the official NHTSA recall for the rolling stops so I'm assuming we're going to get it quicker than usual and that all of us on FSD beta will get it eventually.

    Anyone else not getting 10.9?

I noticed on TeslaFi that people started to get 2021.44.30.15 (FSD 10.10). I haven't gotten a notification yet, but I'll keep checking. I'm on 2021.44.30.5 (FSD 10.8.1).
  17. GargantulaKon

    Anyone else not getting 10.9?

I agree, I don't think it does anything different. Using the chill profile, my car still tailgates others with a following distance of 7 and still accelerates and brakes too quickly. It's not chill driving, 😁. I hope this improves in the future.
  18. GargantulaKon

    Anyone else not getting 10.9?

Yeah, that's probably the reason. Thank goodness they're stopping these rolling stops because I'm using the FSD beta chill profile, but my car still rolls through stop signs. I think it's rude when there are other cars near you, but fine when no cars are around.

Yeah, the car has no idea what an Amish buggy is and wants to just ram it right now. I've only tried it once though, I'll try it again later. I do send snapshots to Tesla and have even emailed the FSD beta email address, but I haven't heard anything back. I do the same trick as you to have a...

Yeah, I hope in the future we can change different options with how the FSD behaves like there is for navigate on autopilot now. I feel like the profiles are a good start, but they don't seem to be actually working. For example, I'm using the Chill profile, but it's still rolling through stop signs.

I have the same issue for residential streets. It tries to drive in the middle of the street. Have you tried taking a left on residential streets with FSD beta? It totally hogs the other opposing lane when turning. It's so dangerous if a car is coming. I know that a lot of people drive that way...

You're having almost the same experience as me. I have experienced some smooth turns though. The weird random mini phantom braking events are the most annoying to me and probably the car behind me. The car had a seizure when I enabled FSD at a stop sign when it had to turn. It was terrible...
