Agreed. Great thread, and thanks for all the insights. Just getting a MY, (this Saturday) and plan on driving down to the tip/ Todos Santos this summer. Thinking about bringing a "donut" spare, just to be safe. My only real concern is getting a flat, that is "unfixable"... I've driven to the tip...
