Seems like it could be a simple software fix. Can’t figure out why they don’t it.

Same problem here. I charge on my home charger at night. I set my charge limit to 70% and I usually get around 74% charge. I’m on version 2021.36.5.1

It’s a 2021 Model Y, delivered in March. It never had this issue until now. The three times that this has happened in the past day, I checked the cable and it was fully inserted.

I received this notification three times in the past day. It states that the charging cable is not fully secured. When check the cable I find that is in fact fully secured. Anyone else have this issue or have any ideas of what is going on?

I think there is a problem with the system. Sometimes the slider button and start time are grayed out and I cannot change to Scheduled Charge Start if I’m currently on Scheduled Departure time. Looks like a software issue.

Thank you for the reply. We had placed the license plate wrap higher than where yours is in the photo. The Tesla tech said that the radar sensor was in the top left section of where we placed the license plate, partially covering it. Too bad that Tesla doesn’t make this known to owners, whether...

Thanks. I turned off the phone and back on. That worked. The reboot did the trick. I guess sometimes that is all that’s needed.

I’ve had the car for two weeks and the phone app has always worked. Today, the screen is blank when I click on the app.
