On the way home from Mackinaw back to Minnesota. Went to Munising to do the shipwreck tour. Charger in Marquette was on my map. Pulling best rates I have ever seen in my MX.

We made it all the way to mackinaw city SC. Pulling good rates too

The Tesla Tech said Esky not till next week. It was still not done.

Just talk to the guy here in Escanaba, it is not online and will not be till next week.

I keep getting told it will be this week too. Assuming all work is done they will be on. I will check in at Esky on Thursday.

Maybe this location is why they both were not turned on this week. My guy said construction was not done so they could not turn them on. Said there is a push to get them on by next weekend.

July 1 would be ideal. I will be through town about 3 PM on July 1st and would really like to charge there for 25 min vs a couple hours at the hotel. On the way to Mackinaw.

My guy said there is a push to get a ton across the country done by 7-2. So we will see if they are online next week.

One of the sites is not completed enough for them to make the trip out. Sounds like they will not be activating these. May be delayed till July.

I will be going to UP next week too From Minnesota. Definitely need Esky to get to Mackinaw.

I was told by a Tesla SC maintenance guy that Marquette and Esky will be online this week SSM is later.

Just got word back from a Tesla employee that services SCs in Minnesota. He told me the plan is to have Esky and Marquette online this week. Soo would come online at another time:

Yawn… been so long since there was an update. Anything going on? Still hoping this one is online by July 1st. Would totally make the trek so much easier (less time in Howard).

Typically they get them done in about 2-3 weeks now. Activation for both would be done at the same time. The guys who inspect prefer not to make multiple trips to the same area. From the time putting the transformers in to turned on should be less than 30 days now since they do not have to pour...

Thanks! While Norway is a bit out of the way, would be much more of a time saver than a slow 9KW/H charger at the hotels in Escanaba. Was there last fall and didn't have enough patience to get the right charge. I'll keep checking back up until July.

Hello from a MN owner. I have plans to go to Mackinaw City area in July and really hoping this opens up. While my MX has a 335 MI range, the wind eats it going around the lake. From recent experience here, superchargers are now opening in about a month after they break ground. Here's to hoping...
