We have a generator and used that during the power outages and PSPS. But that got old after 5-6 a year with some being a few minutes to others being 12+ hours. And trying to be a good neighbor, we didn't run it at night.
I assumed that it would update on its own. I have 2 PW which covers my peak starting load. I'll leave it as is and see if it eventually gets it. But as of now, it does what I want it to do.
Is your EV charging from the grid on Balanced? I'm currently on Cost Saving because after a week on Balanced, my wife's car keeps draining the PW when it charges during off-peak.

We have a "Partial Home Backup". 7.2kW solar system w/ 2 Powerwalls. It's basically a Whole Home Backup minus the pool pump and EVSE. Appliances are all natural gas and the HVAC only draws ~3kW so everything was able to be backed up.
