I was under the impression Tesla fitted their own connector. Turns out that is a US only thing. I didn’t know the standard type 2 socket could be used for supercharging.

If your car has a type 2, then is it already capable of CCS? Type 2 is the round bit at the top. CCS adds an oval bit to the bottom of the connector. this is CCS on the left and type 2 on the right.

I've just received my final invoice. In the tesla account, it says include the RN number in any payments. In the invoice itself it says include the invoice number. Which is it?!

A lot of EV chargers have an option for a plinth. Perhaps run the armoured right to your carpark, and mount the charger closer to the car. Could make your wife happier if its further from the house. If getting a cable to the correct location is an issue, perhaps something like trenchless moling...
