I think the issue is they don't want 1000 lost customers in their parking lots looking at & inspecting cars. I also originally had pickup and was converted to delivery. I had to get the phone number of the guy delivering the car because there no street parking where I was.

My wait is finally over. Just took delivery and everything looks perfect despite being EOQ rush. I can't say I will ever willingly go through this process again for my primary car (from EDDs all the way from May to September) but the car looks great and I'm glad its over. No PPF or Mudflaps added.

My VIN was assigned on the 18th and they auto scheduled me for home delivery on the 20th. I did have the option for the 21st. My SA originally told me that I would have the option to pick a 3 day window.

I just completed my payment and I have delivery scheduled for tomorrow! I didn't think they would deliver to my SF location but it looks like they would give me a call and just one leave my car on the street. Only took 10 weeks!

I don’t know if I have some information bias but it seems no one has picked up a long range Model Y in the Bay Area yet, and we are down to the last full week in June.

My dates held 6/15 - 6/29 (for the past couple days it’s been going back one day as the earliest day has been reached). Honestly I’m more worried at this point that it doesn’t seem anyone in the Bay Area has picked up long range model Ys? Or has even gotten a VIN. Not sure how it makes sense...

How did you find a new SA? My current one is just completely unresponsive.

My SA stopped responding when I asked if I had any idea why my dates slipped to July even though I ordered in early April. I couldn't even get the empty non-answer how the guys are working as hard as possible. I really hope I wake up to better news tomorrow, I'm so despondent to this process...

I applied for a PenFed Loan but they are asking for a Purchase Order before they give me a rate. Has anyone just used their order reservation form? I'm worried if I wait for a VIN it will take too long to close the loan by the time they expect to deliver. I guess a better follow up question...

I worry it's because I have applied for financing yet. The Tesla agent who called me told me to apply for financing on May 1st because the decision would be valid for 60 days, but he *also* told me Tesla prioritizes people who are ready to play. Maybe he didn't give the best advice?
