stutter sound coming from front driver side

I have noticed on my 21 MY, after getting to 25k miles or so, that when I start out, I can hear what sounds like the ABS performing a self test at around 20 mph or so. I only hear it if the car has sat for a few hours, especially in the am.

    Tesla shield business practice

I ordered a full set of MY mats, front and rear, 3 months ago, at a great price, knowing that they will not be arriving anytime soon. It said that on the website when I ordered and I knew it. Within a week, I received my rear mat, trunk mat and frunk mat. They are excellent quality, look...

Phantom braking so bad I want to return my car

I have had my MY (204xxx) since the beginning of June with just under 5k on the odo. Live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I use the cruise control about 70% of my driving, since it helps reduce power use overall. The amount of phantom braking I get is far more than I could have ever...

    110/120v Charging Amps Limits

jcanoe, that is the clearest explanation I have seen to date. Thank you for the thorough run down. A question comes to mind for the different preconditioning modes. You said that the winter precon can use up to 7kw. Would that be 10 min on say a 30F day, or would that be closer to a 10F...

    110/120v Charging Amps Limits

I now understand how the car limits the amperage for the different outlets. I appreciate all the replys. My original post was intended for when I would be parked at work, and there is only a 120v plug available. I would probably be using a 12ga extension cord, and wanted to know how to...

    110/120v Charging Amps Limits

I guess I will look in to getting the 5-20r and the optional Tesla 5-20 plug connector for the charge unit. Thanks for the help with this. I am still curious how to use the amp setting on the charging page. Is the max charging amperage determined solely by the plug adapter you use? or the amp...

    110/120v Charging Amps Limits

That is exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks for the quick reply. So, why is there an amp adjustment available on the charging page? When and how should it be used?

    110/120v Charging Amps Limits

Still waiting for delivery of my MY. I'm trying to figure out how the charge rate on 120v is changed if you have a 20a circuit available. If I use the supplied plug that comes with the car, what will be the amp draw limit be? Can you adjust the amp draw limit on the touchscreen if you know...

Keeping MY plugged in without recharging

I'm beginning to see that things are a little different with the Tesla. Thanks for the responses.

Keeping MY plugged in without recharging

I am new to the Tesla experience and I have a question about plugging in a MY when it doesn't need a charge. (I have a MY on order). There are times when I only drive 20 or so miles a day. With my previous Volt, I found it good practice to not top the battery off every single day, and...

How to tell if lifetime supercharging?

I have an order in for a new M3, but have been watching sales of used Teslas. I noticed some sellers advertise that the car comes with lifetime supercharging, others do not. I understand that the lifetime supercharging program ended around 2017, but is there a way to tell if a private...
