Just wondering, I’ve just had a loan car of a model X and noticed when the doors open the red lights in door illuminated. I don’t think they’ve ever illuminated on my 2021 M3. Question is should they or are they not wired up in model 3.

Glad I found this thread. Only by chance as far just back from SC and was looking to see if the Oring fix they’ve applied was anything to do with the boot not opening fully and 2 beeps. So my boot has been doing this since November. Is it worth booking in to get the power strut replaced then?

1 more sleep to go, just got text saying that car is due tomorrow and will get a text once it's been picked up by the courier. To say I am excited would be an understatement.

Congrats - had similar thoughts, but Tesla won out in the end, a lot of factors really but i believe the software is better in the long run.

Glad it's arrived safe and sound and you are enjoying it :) Will need to get a list of the accessories everyone is buying as I need to get an Amazon order in soon.

Was in a similar position. A flurry of activity once the order went through but nothing really concrete other than a rough date of mid may. That then changed to late May but until the delivery date was confirmed by Tesla I was scratching around for information. Only started getting information...

That looks a smart charger, the electrician I have recommended the Sync EV charger, or Zappi. I've opted for the Zappi, just waiting for confirmation of a date to get installed now.

Yea it feels ages away (even if its only 3 weeks away) - but I am sure it will give me enough time to get some accessories ordered :)

So got a text message from Tesla saying it will be delivered on the 24th May. Number seemed odd was a 01799 number, sound right?

So fairly excited, I managed to get my VIN number after a lot of questions. Looks like its in the range mentioned on the last few posts here, MC218*** The expected date seemed to get pushed back too late may, but this news has excited me a little for potential May delivery.

Yea if it was as simple as that :) I did ask the leasing company the other day and the person on the phone had no idea!

Hey Mrkwats, I’m leasing with Tusker (well just waiting for car). Did your premium connectivity continue ok? I know I’ll likely have a year to try it but don’t fancy being stuck without the option in 12 months.

Haha yes. Although because I am leasing nothing shows in my Tesla account and I’m desperate for info. Phoned up leasing company and got my RN but that’s all I’ve got other than a hazy date of mid-May from them. Nothing specific though. 😥
