I received my VIN yesterday. No text/call from SA or SC. I had to call SC three times (was hung up on twice). FINALLY got someone who cared and immediately scheduled my appt for tomorrow. He said I could take it today except temporary tags still in process. Super excited! Good luck to everyone...

Yes, I had to acknowledge radar removal. When I clicked button my VIN was assigned.

Got a VIN! 1872xxxx. Pick-up 5/25-5/28 in Houston, TX. That is just delivery estimate--don't have confirmed pick up date yet. Ordered on 4/12--config in signature line.

I sold my F-150 to carmax 6 weeks ago in anticipation of getting MY. They gave me $40k for a 2015 platinum with 50k miles. Demand is crazy for used F-150's now. I had a friend actually get offered (by Ford) more than he paid for a 1 year old F150.

No, talked to a live delivery specialist--she looked at my specific order number as well to confirm.

Just called the local SC instead of my SA. They said "we're producing cars in Fremont for the whole world--for our US customers that ordered in April we're expecting a June delivery--that's when we'll focus on delivering in the US." Not sure how informed that is but that is what I heard.

Totally makes sense that they’d push produced vehicles to the end of the distribution chain to wait for software update. Curious about what they’re going to do in states like TX where you have to buy vehicle while it’s still in CA and then ship it here. I drove by Houston TSC and didn’t see...

Same—been about two weeks since I’ve had an estimated delivery date. Prior to disappearing, it was May 14 - June 2. I’m taking delivery in Houston. Ordered LR white/white, 19in wheels, 7 seater w/tow+FSD. Ordered in 4/12. No VIN yet

It is crazy how estimates are all over the place. For about 10 days now my date has completely disappeared. Instead, it just shows my order number (RN...), view design details, and then right to Autopilot section. At this point, I'd be happier with a "-"!

I ordered almost everything on your list as well. Last night I was getting so frustrated with this process I started looking at used Model S. Then I glanced around my office at the 20+ boxes I have of Model Y accessories and decided against it.

My delivery date was mid-May to early June since I ordered (4/12). Estimated delivery date disappeared two weeks ago. SA told me car would definitely be in before June 31st (not even a date).

Think that’s right. Unless they lobby to change law or sell through third party dealer.

Unfortunately this isn't the case for all states. Tesla can't sell you a car in Texas. You actually have to fund the purchase while car is still in CA--and then they ship it to you. This is due to state law prohibiting manufacturers from also dealing.

Agree w/this; however, Tesla may prioritize a FSD delivery in order to recognize more revenue during the quarter.

Well you just got my hopes up! I ordered same car except 19", FSD, and 7 seater. Placed 4/12. I'll be so glad when I can stop refreshing the page and/or looking at Tesla page last thing at night and first thing in morning!

Anyone have a 14-50 outlet on back wall of garage and park front end? That’s my set up and wrangling with paying $1500 to run outlet to front of garage or pay $300 and deal with outlet being 16ft from charging port. Think I’d have enough slack but a little concerned. Any thoughts helpful :)

Same in TX. Carmax offered be $10k more so that made the math easier :) I asked Tesla if they would match and they said my best bet was Carmax because they would actually retail my car whereas Tesla would take it to auction.

When we say “you got your VIN”, does that imply your car has been manufactured, or just that Tesla has applied for VIN# for your order?

I have a really dumb question: does FSD option require a hardware change upon ordering? I thought it was just a software mod--such that selecting one way or the other wouldn't effect delivery date. Is that right?

Agree. You know we'd all still be tracking VIN receipt dates in spreadsheet, though :) .. it would certainly reduce the heartburn

Website was down earlier for me as well. I ordered a LRMY white/white +tow +FSD on 4/12. I just refreshed my order page and there is a blue M3 with no estimated delivery date :oops:
