If you haven't found something yet, Plasti Dip might work. Not the rattle can version, but the tough, rubbery stuff to dip tool handles in. On my car, I used automotive cloth loom tape and it seems to be holding up pretty well so far.

On the 7th of this month. However, they scratched the car getting it in or out. It's back at the SC for paint work to fix that now. At least they gave me a loaner.

Same for me. Just got 2022.8.2 installed about an hour ago, and no option showing at all in the audio settings.

Go to the Lights menu and make sure Ambient Lights is turned on.
