I think in my circumstances it will be possibly beneficial. Home a lot in day, have free power 9p-9a but no net metering which works with pw grid charging enabled. usual use is zero grid 9a-9p. The principle of not giving away free solar power in day is what i am looking for.

I can confirm just uninstalled and reinstalled app and charge on solar shows up. not sure if less invasive option would also work. but I was very annoyed trying to get it to show up.

just updated my model X to 2023.26.7 and nothing yet for charge on solar option. powerwall 23.12.10 for a long while

as a doctor with a MX plaid, blacking out or "redding out" isn't normal for 1 g of acceleration. I concur with getting checked. A true black out with your foot smashed on accelerator is bad bad bad for your health.

sport vs comfort settings in my MX plaid is very different. compared to previous 2018 MX i prefer it. sport is great for gunning it and having tighter control with out a big lurch. comfort hits speed bumps very softly. Just gotta set it up for what you want.

traded in my used 2018 MX 100D after 9 months when MX Plaid showed up, got 1800 more then I bought it for put maybe 5k miles on it.

i did like 361 wh/mi over first 800 miles. i do launch too much and all short drives. worst single drive in 700's wh/mi when you punch it.

I installed 12.3 2 days ago and 12.3.1 yesterday. no rear restraint fault yet. update notes are opaque as usual for the issues we care about.

2022.12.1 here still get bilateral rear safety restraint fault daily.

I got the matte, one issue i have noticed the white seats still reflect a ton, in bright sun its still hard to see screen well.

informed decisions on a tesla is a faith based question. I just got my 2022 MX plaid and I love it. Compared to my 2018 MX LR its a lot better. Some minor paint issues which are not anything new.

My USAA quote for new MX plaid is 250 less per six months then my 2018 MX 100D. Plaid is Same rate approximately as my 2021 MY LR

Got VIN yesterday. Edd 2/26-3/4. MX plaid blue ordered 6/11/21. We shall see if delivery is as planned. Had just been changed to July 2022 edd week prior to vin.
