Probably depends on what state you live in. In Georgia, I uploaded my current car. I had my agent send me an electronic temporary card the day of pickup but no one at Tesla ever checked. The LH did contact my agent a couple of days after pick up though to make sure it was covered.

I received my delivery date with a 10+ day spread like that as well - estimated was 3-9th and first day I could schedule was the 10th / car isn’t supposed to arrive on the lot until the 9th though so nothing my SA could do.

I went by the Atlanta service center just to see and there were about 70 model 3/Ys sitting on the lot. Almost all were either white, black, or gray. I’m not sure how Mini they normally have on the lot but I would imagine not quite that many.
