Replacement cost are much higher on Tesla's. Plus Tesla's don't depreciate as fast as other vehicles so this would increase insurance premiums due to the possibility of a greater actual cash value payout

The software updates will not use the radar in the car anymore for the 3s and ys.

It's not a part. It's a firmware update moving away from radar to purely camera. "Tesla Vision" It's been updated this week so deliveries should ramp up

I heard the I heard the same thing...Its for the removal of radar for self driving and autopilot. The firmware is to use just vision. The vehicles can't operate safely without it.

Interesting. I ordered M3 SR+ everything else stock, May 13th and it's showing 5 to 11 weeks. So there's something on the week of June 14th. Is the week of June 14th considered the end of Q2 for Tesla where they delivery a bunch of units?

Its still between June 9th and July 7th. You'll most likely get it mid June or even first week of June. There saying M3s and Ys are generally getting bumped up a week from original delay
