I'm 15 miles away from the factory and last I heard I had to go there to pick it up... so I guess they changed everything given recent events? Glad to hear everything is going smoothly for you, I hope my delivery will be the same, and soon!

Exciting! Can I ask what you mean by "California doesn't need to show Tesla VIN"? Also, do any other Californians know how common auto insurance companies compare with Tesla's own insurance? This is my first car so I have some preliminary quotes from some agencies but not Tesla yet...

I'm wondering that too! I ordered a LR midnight silver, black interior, 18' Aero wheels back on April 6, for a delivery in Fremont, and my estimated time is June 7-27 as of yesterday. I was hoping that since I'm going to Fremont that I would be one of the first but it doesn't seem that way :(
