I just picked up my model 3 today and this is what I had. Needless to say I made a appointment to get it fixed. Also had a taillight with condensation and some panel gaps. You wait all this time and this is what they give you.

Luckily none of that affects the way it drives which was really well! I won’t be happy with the panel gaps and interior misalignment until they fix it completely (the taillight is a quick fix hopefully). Does anyone know if they give out loaners while they fix those issues?

It looks like it, I’ll have to look at some other cars to see if they have the same thing. I’ll bring it up when I take it in for service next week.

Oh and did anybody get a free tire repair kit as well in the trunk?

Finally picked up my car today! Of course there were some issues with it. The left rear taillight has a bad gasket and has condensation in it. The passenger doors have a gap in it and the interior trim over the rear passenger door isn’t aligned. Made an appointment to get these taken care of...

Got a text today that my car arrived early, so now I get to pick it up Wednesday at 1 pm. Now I just need to find a ride lol, looks like I’ll be taking a Lyft to pick it up then my son and I are driving up to PA for an amusement park trip. Nothing like a road trip to break in the new car.

Got my delivery scheduled tonight, picking it up June 25! I could have picked it up on the 23rd but we are heading on vacation that day. Hopefully the car arrives sooner and I can pick it up before vacation.

Yeah I ended up finding one in existing inventory that was in transit near here, that’s how I got my VIN.

Called the SC today and asked them to track the VIN and they can see where it is, or in my case just saying it was on the rails still. Their system said delivery should be on the 21st.

Congrats! They said my car should be there on the 21st hopefully.

Spoke to the SC today, they said the car is on the rail still and the current ETA is June 21, could be earlier than that or later. Of course I’ll be on vacation that week, will be hoping it comes in earlier than that.

I didn’t even rely on my SA, I was just checking the existing inventory and found it. It was the same color as what I ordered but with white interior, figured I could live with the white interior. Had to pay $500 to get it transported as it was on its way to Richmond, VA.

Woo Hoo, my EDD moved to the left today, from July 15 - Aug 4 to July 14 - Aug 3 lol. At least it’s moving in the right direction. I’ll call my SA again later next week for another update to see if they still say the third week of June.

I think I’m going to call my dealership and see what they say as long as it is still available. I like the idea of getting a 2021 with the radar instead of Tesla vision (the lumbar support doesn’t really bother me).

Well bad news, the Tesla chat person said they can’t remove FSD from demo vehicles, so back to the drawing board. He did confirm that SAs have nothing to do with assigning VINs in case your SA is MIA.

At least you have dates lol, I only ever had 4-11 weeks and now nothing since Friday. Those dates do seem to jive with what I was told yesterday when I called the Owings Mills location.

Just applied for financing and got 2.49%. Before accepting it though I sent an email Tesla Financing to see if I can get a better rate, never hurts to try.

Just called Tesla in Owings Mills, MD. They said they are filling orders now for the end of April and said mine should be delivered in the third week of June at this point. Let’s see if that holds up.
