Thanks for the reply. A few others above stated to look at Tow Mode which i did this morning. I turned it to "Off" backed out of the driveway and got no in-car alerts. I started thinking "gosh shouldn't I be hearing alerts right about now?" Ha ha ... I can't have it both ways!
