I still find minor issues and Tesla fixes it for free. I have had my car since 6/3 and have 800 miles on it so far. Most recent repair was on 6/22. Driver seat trim issue. There was 1 inch gap between the trim and the seat... It should be flush.

That scared me too when I compared with 2020 model... The service tech said the 2021 has a motor there for the trunk door. That seal is normal.

I got my first statement today for first payment scheduled for July 18th. I got my car delivered on 6/3.

I'm sure every case is diff but for me, the car was in the Chicagoland main lot when the VIN was assigned. Got delivery in ~5 days after VIN.

Picked my car 6/3. Here are few things I found. Have a service appointment for 6/9 to fix the problem(s) 1. Steering column interference with front dash 2. Passenger side rear door requires a lot of force to latch 3. Paint feels grainy in many parts 4. The trunk seems to have large gaps...

Ditto... Couldn't pass the offer made by Carvana. Didn't want to add more miles while I waited for the M3 and possibly not get the same offer from Carvana.

Make the trip to schedule the delivery... Left to them, they will have the system defaults... They can override it manually if you are there

Make a trip down there once you get the VIN :)

I got my VIN the car was in Naperville. Accept vision and call the dealership to fast track the delivery.

Got my car delivered today... The wait was worth it... Drive feels great and took some getting used to the braking and acceleration. Few things I noticed 1. The trim on the dash touches the steering column. Squeaky when moving steering in/out 2. One of thr door takes a lot more effort to close...

My VIN was available on 5/28 after accepting the teslavision disclaimer and EDD was 5/29 to 6/1. Got sms on 5/30 to schedule deliver. First available spot for 6/3 @8am and I picked that.

I ordered my M3 on the day I agreed to offer from Carvana. The sales person at the showroom said 6 weeks but they expect to deliver in 2-3 weeks.... I sold my car a week later thinking I would be waiting only a week at most 2....8 weeks later.. I'm still waiting... Just did the final payment...

Question for those who are financing and waiting for delivery. How long before the did you get the option to wire the $. Do you get directions via sms/email/ we page? My delivery is on 6/3 8am and I still don't have the details to wire the funds over. SA obvious is not very helpful on giving...

Hang in there... I keep coming back to check if you got your VIN... I was with you all of last week while everyone who ordered after us either got a delivery scheduled or picked up a car. I feel like you might have been on the wrong cycle of them building these cars... We have the chip shortage...

You are very patient, I would have called Friday and probably driven to the dealership yesterday.. Our branch was open during memorial day to handle the huge delivery backlog.

Hang in there... I ordered 4/10 and got my VIN last week and delivery is scheduled for 6/3. My SA said they got a big delivery 5/27 (Naperville) and it was taking them time to inspect and assign delivery dates. Not sure how often they get delivery but you could be on the next lot.

Might want to check Carvana too. I had tesla offer $6k and Carmax $9.5K for my 2015 Altima but Carvana bought it for $11.3K.

That's a long wait... I was feeling bad for having ordered on 4/10 and still not having the car. Got my VIN on 28th and took the SA to help push it along for delivery scheduling... The car is ready for pick up but the damn system has defaulted to home delivery for 6/3 with no way to override it...

Just got a mssg to confirm delivery. Earliest available was 6/3 @ 8am. There was no option to pick up in person. It said my location qualified for home delivery. Will reach out to SA is I can pick up in person sooner.

The SA said the service folks have to inspect each car. When it passes all checks, the open the portal for payment. Once that is done, we can pick a date and time for pick up. Seems like they have limited resources to inspect all the cars in the lot.

Ordered 4/10. Got VIN on 5/28 and EDD changed from 3-12 weeks to 5/29 - 6/1. SA said it might take few more days. Need to wait for payment portal to open. Once payment is done, they will assign pick up date and time.

Woke up and hit refresh on the tesla account screen. Had to accept teslavision. I now have a VIN with delivery date 5/29 to 6/1 Order date: 4/10 SR+ Midnight Silver with black interior and 18" aero

I feel your pain... Seeing those who ordered a month later getting VIN and pick up date is causing me anxiety...

Have feeling metallic grey gets built later... I ordered 4/10 and still no VIN or request to agree vision

I ordered on 4/10. EDD was June 15-June 30. It disappeared last night and this morning reads 3-13 weeks. I don't have it in me to wait 13 more weeks.

You have to order before 12pm to get next delivery... Can you believe that! :) To make things worse... The delivery person doesn't show up till 6pm :D FYI... Just refreshed and still no delivery date

Ditto...wife though I was crazy... For someone who finds one day prime delivery too slow... This it too much anxiety... Ordered M3 SR+ on 4/10. Estimate delivery has slipped from 5/7 to 6/15 to 8-12 weeks...finally disappeared few minutes ago.... Had to get on a form to make sure this wasn't...
