Used Model Y pricing vs brand new order

Depending on where you live, the provincial rebates may not apply. In BC, the rebate is income based, so many people who can afford a $80 000 car don't qualify for the provincial rebate, thus it's not reflected in the used market prices. Agree about options, depending on autopilot, paint, rims...

Are we now seeing the true value of Tesla’s ? Read:

Seems a tad low.... even with the new pricing taking effect. Is that about 65% of wholesale value?

BC owners: vote for where to add Supercharger locations in Tesla’s new poll

Tofino BC would be nice to have, but they offered Ucelet which is close enough. Something further North on Vancouver island, such as Port Hardy or Port McNeil sure would be nice... There's still a ways to go in order to get from Northern BC to Alaska without relying on campgrounds....

How do you know when brake fluid flush is needed?

From Tesla's maintenance guide: Brake Fluid Test Tesla recommends testing your brake fluid for contamination every 2 years and replacing as needed. Brake fluid is relatively cheap, compare to stuck / corroded calipers.

Official Tesla CCS1 adaptor now available in Canada.

Looking for Wall Connector Installer - Courtenay/Qualicum BC

They each need a 60A breaker, but can be configured not to draw more than 48A total (80% rule) combined if linked by wi-fi.

Looking for Wall Connector Installer - Courtenay/Qualicum BC

Any electrician can do this. There is also a BC Hydro rebate if you fill in the form and your electrician completes it. If you use baseboard heat, your panel may not support 2x wall connectors at 60A each, they'll have to do a panel load calculation.

MAD at Tesla - Will have to bring them to court.

The Manitoba safety inspection essentially looks at lights, brakes, tires and general condition. It does not certifiy the power system of the ICE or electric vehicle. I'd return it to the seller.

Best charger setup for Canadian winters (can't park in garage)

Without a doubt, go with option 4. We had a 14-50 in the garage, so we started with the mobile connector. Opening the garage door twice a day became a chore and the cord starting showing signs of wear after 6 months. You can charge other cars with a Tesla charger (with an adapter). In the...

    Model 3 long range

We avg 135 wh/km in summer and 145 Wh/km at around 0 deg C. This assumes that vehicle was preheated while plugged in, and parked outside. Model 3 SR+ At -10C without preheating, on a 20km journey we were using 160-175 Wh/km. Without preheating and below 5C there is little to no regen, so...

Tesla Model 3 - Delivery delayed because of a damage on the body

This is not uncommon with vehicle transportation. The difference between Tesla vs the incumbents is that Tesla tells you, Ford, GM, Chrysler would not. It'll get fixed, It'll be indistinguishable from the rest of the vehicle.

Should I buy winter tires or wait? Picking up 1st car - MYLR 1st week of March in Toronto

I'm pretty sure you have 7 days after the purchase of a vehicle to install winter tires. I wouldn't expect it to be the manufacturer responsibility. Most likely they are all seasons.

Experience with charging on 120V outlet in winter

In that case, I'd try to get them to install a pay for use charger, say 30% over kwh cost to make up for the infrastructure. It would add to resale value for all units. Who pays for the power of the 120v outlet in the garage?

Bought 150KM Range Model 3 in Canada - Can I upgrade range?

Tesla was very clear when these were sold. It will never be possible to upgrade the range of a standard range to a SR plus. I'd refuse delivery if it was advertised as a SR+. Did you call tesla to confirm the vin and features?

Delivery / Service Issues (panel gaps, delivery delays / issues / Service problems etc)

Same issue here. Right out of the Tesla parking lot and steering wheel is about 3 to 5 degrees off center. Should they be checking this as part of their pre delivery inspection? We're 5 hrs and a ferry ride away, so hopefully the mobile tech can recenter the wheel.

    Insurance in BC

Our icbc premium came to about 1400 (van isl). 2 mil liability, 500 colll, 300 comp. We didn't take the replacement warranty. It is very expensive for what it is and I suspect they make a nice profit of it. Our collision premium is about 550$. That covers the depreciated value of the car...

Canadian Model 3 delivery estimates for new orders are already into June.

You have a choice. Either wire transfer or bank draft. If wiring the funds, do it well in advance as they need 2 days to confirm receipt.

Canadian Model 3 delivery estimates for new orders are already into June.

We gave up. Our EDD went from 18-30 June back to 3- 12 weeks. Speaking to an advisor, they seemed pretty confident for August, maybe September delivery. Maybe that's just a sales tactic for us to take up an existing inventory, maybe it's the truth. Anyway, we ended up switching from white to...

Ordered M3 SR+ on 30 May. Initially, delivery was listed as 4-12 weeks. Then yesterday changed to 14-30 June. SA says end of Aug to Sep.... not sure what to believe. We have a vehicle to sell privately so don't want to be without a 2nd car for 3 months!
