FYI - I picked up on August 21st in Michigan. It did not have mud flaps. And the PPF was put on at delivery center not by factory.

That sounds like a privacy issue that Tesla needs to address. Regardless of the previous owner cancelling the policy or not. Seems like it’s how they are linking the data to resources may not be the best way.

How long can you put an order on hold? I assume when you come out of a hold it just drops you at the end of the line?

Check with your lease company. As most are blocking 3rd parties (e.g. Tesla) from buying out your lease. GM, Honda/Acura, and Nissan require all leases to be returned to the respective dealerships. Tesla in my case sent me a text to tell me that Honda/Acura no longer accepts trade-ins for...
