Just remember that if you ordered a SR+, you likely don't need anything over 30amp, as the SR+ is limited at that. Check the * at the bottom there. When I was looking at options, my panel could only support an additional 30 amp plug without having to spend thousands on a new panel and wiring.

I'll be following your posts. I got a VIN yesterday and the EDD pushed back again today. It seems some folks get EDD + Delivery Appointment at the same time, while others get a VIN and then play the EDD game a bit longer.

I called my local center and they said "It could either be Fremont direct pickup, pickup from our location, or delivered to your house". Somebody from the delivery team will call to confirm.. So we'll see when that happens, but yea they love to give non-answers.

haha! Yea it does :) Well cool, we seem to have a very similar timeline. My EDD was stuck in late September and then randomly got a VIN. I'll keep an eye out for the final payment email, and stop refreshing so often lol. Hopefully by this time next week I'll have the car. Good luck on Friday!

I'd wait 8 weeks, and then start getting antsy. Anything earlier you're setting up yourself for disappointment. If it comes early, they'll let you know!

Agreed. It's been very slow, and looks like a bunch of us got EDD's pushed back.

How do you guys get different SA's to actually respond? Every time I call up another location they just try and redirect me to my SA. Maybe I should be more forceful, but I already feel bad - these folks are under lots of pressure I'm sure.

Yes, my SA is from Dublin. He doesn’t know anything and just says “go to Tesla.com to see status” =\ whenever I call another location they tell me “oh your SA is this guy let me transfer you”

I’m 6/1 also factory. Current is month of September. I’ve read a few other Bay Area folks mention their SA’s say mid August, which makes sense since late May people are getting theirs now. Hopefully only a few more weeks!

Tesla’s don’t do Waypoints. Iirc Elon said fine they’ll do it at some point but who knows. I’d use an app like PlugShare to plan a more intricate route.

If it makes anybody feel better, check out the lead times for a Mach-E(24+ weeks) or an E-Tron. 7-12 weeks isn't too bad all in all, considering the demand and the supply chain issues. I just wish the process was a bit more transparent. If they could 'build-to-order' instead of 'we will match...
