When you or a dealer places a financing request, the bank is legally required to send you a letter of approval or denial. My guess is that Tesla's just still working on sorting it out or looking for better rates

Hope it's not too personal but what area are you from in CA? SoCal? NorCal? Bay area? I'm from LA area and it seems like Bay area orders have been coming in but SoCal is still waiting. For reference I ordered 4/7 :/

My family of 4 adults has been sharing two cars for months now in a suburb outside LA. We're all part or full-time employed... it's been a nightmarish wait for this tesla :(

HA no no, if you ordered from inventory you should be getting that thing real quick! At most a week or two from what I've heard (assuming it doesn't need to get delivered super far)

Sorry that may not have been clear. I saw some new inventory on the 1st - 4th but wasn't ready to order yet. By the time I had done a test drive and run some finance numbers I decided to order a custom on on 4/7 cause all of the inventory was gone :( I figured they must be constantly delivering...

Ordered April 7th, saw some in inventory earlier that the week so I assumed that there'd be almost no wait. Wish I had known about Tesla's Quarter-based madness beforehand. Still waiting.... :( EDD says 9-13 weeks this morning :/
