Yeah this is not a thing. You can add/remove vehicles at any point. No insurance company can make you keep a car insured when you dont own it. Removing a vehicle and adding another vehicle 2 weeks later does not increase premiums....other than the normal increase of insuring a more expensive...

My wife is the same way! :) I think ive watched every single Tesla model 3 video on YouTube. Shes's been a trooper and watched a good amount of them with me so now shes a semi-tesla expert. My EDD is in the single digits (Aug 16-Aug 15th) for the first time. Come on VIN!!!!

I just missed out on a white/white with the 19 in wheels. Same configuration as my ordered M3 but with the white interior which i wouldve been ok with. I was too busy checking on the Cubs fire sale. ughhh

Killing me! I ordered it with the black interior and have been having some regret not getting the white interior....I dont want to make any changes since ive waited so long and dont want to reset my clock....your message is not helping me with this decision! lol

The only communication I had after the order was a “welcome to the Tesla family” email where they give you summary of the delivery process and other tips. I emailed my SA a couple weeks ago to see if he could provide additional info on my EDD and he replied back within a day.

Mine moved back a week from Aug 9-Aug 29 to Aug 16-Sept 5. I just have to keep telling myself “EDD means nothing…EDD means nothing…etc”. Or at least try and convince myself of that lol.

Hey lucky! Welcome to the waiting club. I’m sure you will soon figure out, the EDD will change daily and in random directions. As others have mentioned, the EDD really means nothing until your VIN is assigned. Your SA won’t be able to tell you much this early in your order.

My EDD moved further out to Aug 10-Aug 30th…order date June 11th. I was somewhat hoping for a VIN this weekend but I guess that won’t be happening. The wait continues.

Same with me! I thought that Tesla wouldn’t give me their 2.49% floor rate after getting the 3.6% with penfed. I just placed the order on Friday and applied for financing right away (premature apparently). I did get the Tesla 2.49 but I’m going to wait a little before I try at other places.
