On my new MYLR, I m finding that I hv to slam my driver door hard to get it closed. I requested for service and they are asking for $84 as service fee. Should we really pay for a new car service for such issues.? Anyone else facing similar issue.

Just remember that demo car is given as is, no change done even if u find wear and tear or scratches etc

Well, what a day it has been. My EDD for the May 24th booking showed Sep 15, and the demo car I snapped was scheduled for delivery on 06/25. But I was still contemplating whether to take a demo car with 700 miles on Odo and tesla saying that they will give the car as is, even if there is wear...

I ordered a model Y from existing inventory today, the car has 600 miles odo reading and will get delivered next week, quite happy as my current EDD was in Aug-Sep. when I spoke to a Tesla rep, he mentioned that demo car comes as is. It may have some visible wear and tear and Tesla won’t fix...

They havent reached out to me as yet. If this really works out, I would hv to thank this forum as I got info about new inventory at California from this forum only. I wont believe I got the car, unless I see it at my garage. Tesla can do anything.

I was able to book at Tesla at local inventory today. VIN starting 5YZ. Says 2021 Model Y with some 600 miles on Odo. Not sure if VIN number says anything about where it is made etc?

I ordered on 5/22, but wasn’t sure that profile completion is needed to get on delivery queue. Took a while as I wasn’t sure on lease vs loan. Delivery dates came to June 30 but now shifted to Aug. do they factor order date or profile completion date? I m in Bay Area.
