Just found a car in inventory and got VIN matched to my account. It is in Fremont already. May get delivery today. At this point I'd be happy to wait a week or so for delivery. Just happy to know there is a car out there, reserved for me. Finally!

How do you find the VIN for a car that's in existing inventory?

The things buyers have been told have been proved to be wrong in the past. So it's all with a huge grain of salt. Up to the Tesla production gods now.

I just learned that our "SA" is not the same person as the person that did our test drive in the showroom. So that makes sense. Talked to them about my financing. They gave me the impression that black wasn't being produced right now either. So I think that theory may be true. Who really knows...

I have excellent credit and haven't "driven my credit score down." The reason I'm concerned about it is because I don't want multiple credit inquiries. But thanks for your unsolicited "advice."

Do they prioritize cars if your Tesla financing is about to expire for purchase? I ordered 4/24, completed financing/license/insurance 5/14 (my SA said it wouldn't matter if I hadn't completed my profile), so my financing only valid until 7/14..EDD is July 23-Aug 14 currently.

I get x-plan pricing. It's not like Tesla isn't without their quality issues. Craftsmanship is higher and ride quality higher on the Mach-E. But obviously my heart is with the Tesla.
