Totally agree. They are sleek and do the job however as winter is near, I will invest in those 3d rubber mats but only because I live on a farm.

Did this morning and they were harder than what many videos on YouTube say. I put them back on as I think the aero wheels look a lot better in real than in pictures or seeing one in the street. Each to their own but IMO, with alloys, the tyres look too big and need lower profile ones

Slightly off topic but I've been with the car for 24hrs now and I love it! That's not what I wanted to say but I have a 32amp commando socket in the workshop and getting 35miles charge per hour which I expected but been really surprised with the normal 3 pin plug. I was expecting 4 or 5 miles...

Mine was at 30%.I also had an amber UI alert which had the Manchester Trafford Centre in the description. Couldn't find anything much on the web about it but it has now vanished after updating to the latest software release overnight.

Just taken delivery of the SR+. Got the delivery at home at 4.30. Got the tracking text after delivery. I was worried as I heard nothing so I called Tesla at 2 to see where they were at. My car was the last to be delivered today. I couldn't find any issues but will give it a thorough check later...

Mine is being delivered today so I'll let you know. I had a text last night confirming delivery was still scheduled for today between 8am and the end of the day. Not heard anything today yet.

Vins must be random as I have a delivery date of this Wednesday. Ordered placed on 15th June. Current lease car going back today!

Replied REG to the text and got a reply within the hour with both registration number and vin. Vin is mc315***

Hi. My order was for the same spec with Knowles. Timeline was: Car ordered according to my Knowles account was 15th June. Got a text from Tesla with a RN on 2nd July. Not sure if this meant the car wasn't ordered on the 15th or there is a delay in the lessee getting the RN. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I have the 3pin commando adapter for it so I can connect to one of the 32amp plugs I already have in the workshop rather than having a dedicated wall charger.

I'm assuming the 3 pin plug and the transformer box or whatever it's called is in the red or black holders?

I too am leasing but I did get an allocation text on 28th July but no vin as I'm not the owner. Delivery text came on 3rd August for delivery on the 1st September. Leasing company are clueless after ordering as they are just a middle man.

Slightly off topic but I read an article the other day stating that Tesla were number 1 in car sales in June (UK) and knocked off top spot and not even in top 10 in July. This is not surprising given the way Tesla operate and quite frankly it was a bit of lazy journalism. May be back to top spot...

Just an observation but I think the Tesla way is the correct way in selling cars. I would assume their data analysts can forecast demand and the production line would be geared up to that so late July and August orders if were over the forecasted demand of a particular spec would incur some...

Done mine through salary sacrifice and got the RN via Tesla text about a week after the company said they ordered the car.

Am I correct in assuming that if you have received the text from Tesla saying you have been allocated a car, it is already in transit rather than waiting at the pier/factory?

I assume you need the desktop version, right click on your account page and select 'View page source'. I have done this but couldn't find a Vin although got the allocated text yesterday. I might be doing something wrong though.
