I ordered in Apr and got my car couple of days back. Never had an assigned SA or DA. Always communicated with Tesla using text with the order support team and they were pretty responsive.

I am in TX, I didn't receive any paperwork. I was told I will get it in mail in 2 weeks or so.

Got a surprise text from Tesla that my car is ready for pickup and I immediately rushed. Everything went smooth, except one little thing with a sealer in window peeling off. Setup a service appointment. Also, the car was not super clean, not a big deal. Finally! the wait is over.

I am planning to use this for my pickup on Friday.

Looks awesome. May I know how I much it cost? I am shopping around from PPF and tints.

I see that lot of you referring to a SA or a delivery associate. I now have a delivery date but I dont know who my SA or DA is and I dont have a single point of contact to talk to. When I call the order support, the wait times are horrendous. How do I find out who my SA or DA is?

so...when does this mad rush of September deliveries begin? even if the deliveries happen in the last week of Sep, shouldn't all the orders with Sep EDDs have VINs by now?

Apparently GFCI is not required in my city and he sent me a revised quote for $900 if I need GFCI. Is GFCI recommended? this plus is going to be very close to the garage door.

Team .. I got this quote from a Tesla recommended electrician to install one NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage right next to the breaker. $750 for one plug. Does this sound reasonable?

Just curious … my current status is “Please pay off your remaining balance prior to delivery”. What would it say when you get a VIN assigned? Also, do you get an email as soon as VIN is assigned?

I was just trying to setup an appointment for installing NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage. The electrician said that the new Teslas dont come with a NEMA 14-50 adapter and that I have to buy that separately. Is that true?

so ...are there situations when a VIN can be seen in the source code but not displayed on the page? why would that be?

EDD ride continues. Its now back to September. The order support team said dont pay too much attention to EDD and that I will most likely get a VIN this week 🤞

I am starting to believe the theory that Tesla is intentionally delaying earlier orders, but what could be their end game? Are they contractually obligated to deliver a car eventually or are they hoping that we will grow frustrated and cancel the order or upgrade to P?

with all the changes lately (no passenger side lumbar support, headlights, biodefence etc), is there a complete list of standard features that come with the latest builds of MY?

My EDD just got updated to Estimated Delivery: September 11 - September 24, from generic Oct.

Did anyone write a macro or something to check the Tesla account and send a text as soon as a VPN is assigned? so that I dont have to refresh every 30 seconds.

Also..: why doesn’t the Tesla app show the status in the app itself. It directs me to browser for login, where I have to punch in the creds every time ( I don’t save history in the browser)

My EDD also went from Oct 11-31 to just October .. ugh. This is after I was told by SA that I should get a vin in a week or two. Still hopeful of getting it this Qtr.

So..just got a call from Tesla order support, in response to my voice mail yesterday and they said I should get a Vin in a week of two. Hopefully they are right. 🤞

at this rate, I may get a MY built in Giga Texas with 4680. I hope :)

Mine is even older, Apr 3rd. But I turned down delivery in June and regretting it. I hope I get one in Sep.

My order date is April 3, its been 145 days. They offered delivery in June but I thought I would wait for the Infrastructure bill to pass and see if they extend tax rebates for Tesla, and didn't take the delivery. It looks like they put me way back in the line. My EDD was stable at 9/15 - 9/30...

Is this group still confident that EV credits for Tesla will be reinstated? The way infrastructure bill is going, I am not sure any more. I placed my order in Apr and put it on hold and just itching to take the delivery. Not sure how long I can hold 😀
